Custom design process
Below is an example of how Stella develops a custom fitting with a client. After several meetings and discussions with our clients, Stella’s designers were able to develop a product that not only met the functional intent, but was also attractive aesthetically. The benefits of a custom design is that you get quality assurance, cost savings and exactly what you want. |

Dead Loads and Live Loads
FACT: Our spiders are designed to withstand up to1,5kN (335lbs) dead load and 3,7kN (675lbs) wind or snow load per leg. Dead load being the load acting perpendicular to the centerline of the glass bolts and wind or snow load being the load acting along the centerline of the glass bolts.
FEA: Finite Element Analysis
Stella offers an FEA service for any custom products we develop. This service is completed by our qualified registered engineer. |
