Doc and Pin General Infomation

As seen above, there are serveral options for Doc and Pins.
  • Fitting Size
    • 12mm - suited for light applications such as glass balustrades (pair with a BA09 handrail bracket)
    • 17mm - used in heavier applications such as glass walls or canopies
  • Connection - Double or Single
    • Single - used in corner or end details
    • Double - used in straight details
  • Glass Bolt Type
    • Countersunk or Button-head
  • Additional Variations
    • Modified version of doc allows glass panel to be lifted into place and hooked onto pin (useful for seismic conditions and ease of install

How Doc and Pin System Works 

The Doc and Pin system allows for "pins" to be bolted through a glass or metal fin, or post, while "docs" are bolted to glass panels prior to application of glass to the pins.
